It was a Monday Night, but that didn't stop me from meeting P-Stone down at Thee Parksdie for the ol' Youth Brigade show...
The Filthy Thieving Bastards played before them. This is what their Wikipedia page says: The band was originally a side project put together by Johnny Bonnel and Darius Koski of the Swingin' Utters. Spike Slawson (also from Swingin' Utters) later joined the band, along with Greg Lisher from Camper Van Beethoven. Their music is influenced by folk rock, Celtic rock, and the Swingin' Utters' style of street punk, with an acknowledged and oft-noted debt to the music of The Pogues.

LAST DAYS
It sucks, I got mugged and lost my camera with a grip of great photos, so if you buy a cheap ELPH in SF, please send me my photos. Anyways, Trouble with a capital T, Dan Pensyl has left the city-this was his last night/day in SF...

We went by to pick up Magnethead and found out he's the new Baby Talk...

We started in Colma which had puddles and a locked gate to stop the shred factor...

Then we took it to Pier 3.5
Jason Crauch went to Pier 7 and meausured it and tried to do a replica in the Mateo. The problem is the gate circles it pretty tightly, so the run up is tough. I imagine Wu-Welsh would still crush it...
Manual Daniel had some insane lines, which will be featured right here on the Trife in a few days (Trife time) on TrifeTV...

Sometimes fishing involves drinking and that's what we did. Mumford, Debbie, Lee, Dicola and myself started the night before the fishing trip at the Waterfront—the oldest bar in SD. After tons of talk about who's going to catch what, we headed back to the house for a few more and to pass out. Next thing you know we were up at 5:30 and out on the boat. The joke on Mumford was that you should bring your trunks and flip flops because its going to be warm and wet out there on the open Seas. He later figured when its cold as shit ad everyone was wearing pants and boots. The Aussie's are so gullable. We all pretty much got skunked o the trip.

Mumford: a cold and a buzz
Debbie: a rock and a buzz
LeeDog: a rock and some fish that was out of season and had to throw it back
DiCola: Caught a buzz and a Pelican.. no lie
Rhino: a buzz, 2 mackerel (which I gave to the boat for bait), and some sort of bird that ducks into the water and snatches your bait.
Other people on the boat caught a shark, 25 lb Halibut and some Sculpins
