Fuck I can't believe I'm missing this. I had every issue of SLAP for the first 10 years-every issue. I got the first issue at The Playground skatepark in CT. Issue number 3 signed by Dune when he did a demo there.
When I worked at DLX I gave Mickey the covers to every issue for those 10 years to give to the SLAP dudes. I wonder if they ever got them.
SLAP is still one of the best zines every. I mean they shouted out Connecticut on the cover once. And I had a photo in SLAP at FDR with a beer in my hand under another alias...I was kind of a big deal back then.
