Sandwich Expedition
Life around HQ's been pretty trife lately...
I've taken to documenting our search for a good sandwich in SF.
Ran into some traffic situations...
we finally made it to May's and it was closed for the holidays. How many days off does a sandwich maker need?
We tried to go to Gambino's as well which is rumored to be pretty epic but they were closed too so we ended up at Ted's.
Poor Boy's were on the docket.
Verdict?
Thumbs to the side.

You should have gone to Tony Baloneys for some BLTs.

the ginch didn't feel like a roxie, we wanted something more epic then a kingfoot and i'm not into blt's, don't like mayo, mustard doesn't seem to mix right with the the blt sitch, and otherwise there just too dry, i really wanted a hot pastrami and swiss on rye.

I understand the craving for the hot pastrami with swiss on toasted rye. You can't really find a good one around here. Maybe New Yorkers Hot Wings on Valencia might have a good one, their Brooklyn Burger on rye is insane. (Mustard on a BLT is good - I won't eat mayo, so I go that route with some avocado and it isn't so dry oh and cheddar cheese)
