I THOUGHT SKATEROCK WAS DEAD TOO?

Last night was rock n roll fantasy night at the Blank Club in San Jose for a band Im in called Dirty and the Donuts. Semi Hot Wax situation. Actually we play gigs and and have a demo cd, so we've got Hot Wax beat.

Anyways, we got to play with fuckin Hightower!

Ray Stevens set it up at the Blank Club in San Jose...Zenwise it had Crabtree in another world. Semi Ipath meets Satori with just a splash of Rasa Libre sprinkled in delicately.

Did I mention Hightower played. They're so fuckin epic!

The Cacti Widder played after the Tower.

Tom Knox is in the Widders and plays drums, semi rock a billy.

After they played, I think I got into drunken dumb annoying guy state; thats semi fanning out on you but you cant tell if it's a dis or not. Semi Farley meeting Paul McCartney situations-"Tom remember when you did a hurricane on that bank to curb by McDonalds in Bakersfield...that was cool." "I want to skate Orange Cove with you, Tom!"

Clay Wheels, semi surf rock, were the headliners. Mannak slow down, you're gonna get hurt jumpin like that.

Romper bomper stomper do...

...I see Queen B, Blaire.

I see Dave Nelson...

I see Ted Terrebonne shooting photos.

Guess who's behind the hand...

Handlebar wise; semi Hetfield. Mike Fox didn't even recognize me with those bad boys. Thanks again Ray for hooking up the show. If anyone has photos of Dirty and the Donuts; email me so everyone can see that its more then just a fantasy. Rock on!

McKenney called today and said he had fun at the show gettin ripped and telling Knox 50 times how awesome he is for inventing the kickflip wallride. McKENNEY!!!

that night was completley epic. i had a lot of fun. all the bands sounded different but skaterock was the theme. also gargantula played up the street at the caravan afterwards. if you don't know who they are it's clifford from b'last's new band. if you don't know who b'last is go watch some old santa cruz videos while jason jesse is skating and listen to the killer music. if you don't know who jason jesse is then just give up now.

what's up with the donuts??
